BETHLEHEM – On February 17 and 18, 2023, the board of directors and the assistants of L’Arche community in Bethlehem came together for a time to relax and decompress at Ma’an Lil-Hayat Boutique Hotel.

On Friday, the gathering started with some board members getting acquainted with the assistants. The community members then enjoyed some homemade meals followed by friendly and competitive activities, as well as a bingo game animated by board member Osama Awad.

The next morning, and after a short prayer by Rev. Ashraf Tannous, the community members were divided into groups and had the opportunity to reflect on the mission of L’Arche. “Relationship”, “Companionship” and “Work” were some of the topics treated by Mahera Nassar, Director of Ma’an Lil-Hayat. The topic of “Gratitude” was also discussed by board member Abir Habash. Throughout the day, Osama once again animated some fun and uplifting activities and games.
